Wong Chee Wing / Kel Wong

Kel’s primary focus at RBA is dispute resolution and litigation. He acts in commercial contract and shareholder disputes, construction-related matters, insurance litigation, criminal proceedings, personal injury claims, probate and estate disputes, divorce and family law, industrial relations, and strata management disputes.

Throughout his career, Kel has deliberately cultivated a broad litigation practice by gaining experience across several established Malaysian law firms. He began his practice at Keppy Wong & Associates, where he was exposed to both criminal and civil litigation. During his tenure at Othman Hashim, he developed significant expertise in insurance litigation, acting as panel counsel for Allianz Malaysia Berhad and Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad in motor and non-motor claims. He subsequently expanded his practice at Chee Hoe & Associates to include industrial relations, strata management, and housing development disputes, further broadening his experience in complex and specialised litigation before joining Rabinder Budiman & Associates.

This progression has equipped Kel with a versatile litigation practice spanning multiple areas of law and diverse court processes. His experience acting for leading insurers, together with his exposure to a wide range of contentious matters, enables him to provide clients with practical, commercially minded, and well-rounded legal representation.
